I've fallen a little behind with my UI challenge because life. Thankfully there's no challenges emailed over the weekend so I can use that time to catch up a bit.
Here's days 4 and 5.
Day 4's challenge was to design was to design a calculator of some sort. I decided to design a calculator that provides the user with an item's discounted price while they're shopping. I'm not sure why, but I found this design the most challenging out of all I've done so far.

Day 5's challenge was to create an app icon keeping in mind the app's purpose and how it would look on a user's phone. I decided to design an icon for a mobile app that helps the user timebox their activities. I chose the color blue because it's known to convey a feeling of calmness and wisdom, both of which I thought to be relevant to my app's purpose.

Next steps for my app icon: find out what words come to mind for people when they think of the color blue. That might be interesting to do as some type of poll on IG to validate my choice for this color. Day 6's challenge is up next!
